Governance

Research Council

Methodological oversight, executive leadership and independent quality and ethics review.

GRI's governance framework separates intellectual oversight from operational management, so methodology and ethics are reviewed independently of commercial considerations.

Research Council

The Research Council provides intellectual and methodological oversight, advises on research priorities, reviews major research programmes and strengthens institutional credibility.

Executive leadership

Executive leadership provides institutional strategy, resources, partnerships, operations and performance oversight.

Research & analytics

Research teams lead study design, fieldwork, data analysis, interpretation and reporting, working with local field capacity across the 14-country network.

Quality & ethics

Review mechanisms are applied where a research project requires additional methodological, ethical or data-protection scrutiny — including sensitive research and studies involving vulnerable participants.

Serving on the Council

GRI welcomes expressions of interest from senior researchers, academics and methodologists interested in Research Council membership, peer review or fellowship roles.
